        "content": "<p>Manokwari (ANTARA) - The Yayasan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Amungme dan\nKamoro (YPMAK) is expanding its human resource development collaboration\nwith SMA Taruna Kasuari Nusantara, which is managed by the West Papua\nProvincial Government.<\/p>\n<p>YPMAK Chairman Leonardus Tumuka in Manokwari on Wednesday stated that\nthe collaboration aims to facilitate access to secondary education for\nthe young generation of the Amungme and Kamoro tribes, making them\nincreasingly qualified.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRegarding quotas, we will adjust them to needs. It\u2019s impossible for\nCentral Papua children to take them all; they must be shared with West\nPapua,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, SMA Taruna Kasuari Nusantara is one of the flagship\nschools in West Papua that not only emphasises academic quality but also\nthe formation of mental and character in every student.<\/p>\n<p>This has a positive impact on the quality of human resources of the\nAmungme and Kamoro tribes, who possess competitiveness in facing global\ndevelopments and work challenges, including continuing to higher\neducation levels.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur hope is that graduates of SMA Taruna Kasuari can enter Akpol,\nAkmil, IPDN, and others. Every year we provide scholarships to 4,000\nchildren, so we want more specific schools,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>YPMAK, he added, continuously monitors the development of students\nevery year in all schools that have established collaborations to ensure\nthat improvements in education quality run optimally as expected.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPreviously, we collaborated with schools outside Papua, but since\nthis year we are focusing on flagship schools in Papua.
