        "content": "<p>YouTube creator Gean Kelana is alleged to have been intimidated while\nreporting on the Wisata Air Kalimalang project beneath the Becakayu toll\nroad in South Bekasi District, Bekasi City, West Java on Friday (29 May\n2026).<\/p>\n<p>The incident went viral on social media after a video surfaced\nshowing an argument between Gean and a man identifying himself as Gondo\nat the project site.<\/p>\n<p>In the circulating video, Gean was seen recording construction\nactivities at the Wisata Air Kalimalang area.<\/p>\n<p>Gean stated the man allegedly threatened him, including threatening\nto burn his motorbike used to travel to the site.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter receiving threats, I did not rush away. I moved away from my\nmotorbike as it was threatened to be burned and I was chased,\u201d Gean said\nin a message to Kompas.com on Monday (1 June 2026).<\/p>\n<p>However, a day after the video went viral, the man identifying as\nGondo met Gean at the Wisata Air Kalimalang site to issue a direct\napology.<\/p>\n<p>He also apologised for his actions and words deemed to contain\nintimidation.<\/p>\n<p>Gean said he accepted the apology and chose to resolve the matter\namicably.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYes, I forgive him. Because it went viral anyway. His family was\nalso affected mentally,\u201d Gean said.<\/p>\n<p>He noted there have been restrictions on reporting activities at the\nproject site, raising questions among the public.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy main aim is to keep recording regardless of circumstances when\nbeing harassed, even if the camera is seized, so the public knows that\nexternal security (ormas) is hired by the project contractors,\u201d Gean\nsaid.<\/p>",
