        "content": "<p>JAKARTA - The youth who lit firecrackers to wake people for suhur in\nPademangan, North Jakarta, will not face criminal proceedings despite\nbeing secured by his own friend, who is a police officer.<\/p>\n<p>Tanjung Priok Port Police Chief AKBP Aris Wibowo stated that no\nelements of criminal offence were found in the incident, so the youth\nwas not detained.<\/p>\n<p>The youth was merely brought to the local RW head for counselling,\naccompanied by officers from Pademangan Police Sector.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor the youth, there is no criminal processing, but he was given\nadvice not to light firecrackers again to prevent disturbing other\nresidents,\u201d Aris said when contacted on Wednesday (25\/3\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>According to Aris, this step was an initiative by community leaders\nto prevent the issue from escalating and to maintain good relations\namong residents.<\/p>\n<p>The involved youths were also asked to apologise for disturbing\nresidents\u2019 comfort and for potentially tarnishing the image of law\nenforcement actions.<\/p>\n<p>However, Aris did not detail the reasons why Rifki was also asked to\napologise, although he previously emphasised that Rifki\u2019s action in\nsecuring his friend was in his capacity as an officer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe stopped by the brawl monitoring post.
