        "content": "<p>Youth group protests Golkar nomination list<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): The Jakarta chapter of the Angkatan Muda<br>\nPembaharuan Indonesia (AMPI) has protested the list of Golkar<br>\ncandidates nominated to be Jakarta provincial councilors.<\/p>\n<p>Syamsul Marsuf and Oberlin Sidabutar, chairman and the<br>\nsecretary of the Jakarta chapter of AMPI, were among the six<br>\nsignatories of a press release distributed to The Jakarta Post<br>\nyesterday protesting the order in which the candidates were<br>\nlisted.<\/p>\n<p>They said their candidates were number 73, 74 and 107 on the<br>\nlist, and were therefore unlikely to get a seat in the City<br>\nCouncil, because there were only 75 seats.<\/p>\n<p>AMPI is a youth organization affiliated to Golkar.<\/p>\n<p>The letter suggested the Golkar Jakarta chapter review the<br>\nnomination list and put M. Taufik and Oberlin Sidabutar in the<br>\n\"good numbers.\"<\/p>\n<p>The signatories said the organization was very dissatisfied<br>\nwith the current list. (sur)<\/p>",
