        "content": "<p>Yogya, Brunei capital to join hands<\/p>\n<p>YOGYAKARTA: Yogyakarta is to establish a sister city program<br>\nwith Bandar Seri Begawan, the capital of Brunei Darussalam, but<br>\nno detailed agenda had been set up thus far, said Yogyakarta<br>\ngovernor Sultan Hamengkubuwono X.<\/p>\n<p>\"It is a work in progress, and both sides are still preparing<br>\njoint programs to develop the two cities,\" the Sultan told<br>\njournalists here on Wednesday after hosting an official lunch for<br>\nvisiting Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei Darussalam at<br>\nYogyakarta Palace here on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Sultan Hamengkubuwono added that the sister city program was<br>\none of several topics they had discussed during the lunch.<\/p>\n<p>The Sultan of Brunei also received an honoris causa doctorate<br>\nin humanity and culture from Gadjah Mada University for his<br>\noutstanding achievements in forging international relations.<\/p>\n<p>\"His Majesty has also contributed much to the bilateral ties<br>\nbetween Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam,\" the rector of Gadjah<br>\nMada University said after the conferment ceremony at the<br>\nuniversity's senate hall. --JP<\/p>",
