        "content": "<p>Yemen frees 5 Indonesian students<\/p>\n<p>SAN'A: Yemeni authorities freed on Sunday five Indonesian<br>\nstudents detained under the Yemeni government's anti-terrorism<br>\ncampaign.<\/p>\n<p>The release was announced by Yemeni Deputy Foreign Minister<br>\nAbdullah Mohammed Al-Saidi after he met with the Indonesian<br>\nAmbassador to Yemen Yulwis Yatim.<\/p>\n<p>Three of the five Indonesian students were arrested on March<br>\n3, 4, and 9 respectively. There was no information about the date<br>\nof the arrest of the other two students.<\/p>\n<p>According to Ambassador Yulwis, some of them have decided to<br>\nreturn to Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>Al-Saidi expressed regret over the arrest and said he hoped<br>\nthat the incident would not affect bilateral ties.<\/p>\n<p>Following the terrorist attacks in the United States on Sept.<br>\n11, Yemeni authorities have arrested hundreds of foreign students<br>\nfrom Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Algeria and Morocco.<\/p>\n<p>The government has arrested 42 Indonesians since last December<br>\ndue to security concerns.<\/p>\n<p>Twenty-one of the 42 Indonesian students were released on Feb.<br>\n3 and the remaining 21 students were freed on Feb. 21.
