\nUnder the Constitution the President can testify before a legal
\ncourt as a person, only with the consent of the head of state,
\nwhile they are both one and the same person, who will sit as the
\naccused.<\/p>\n
So, the only solution would be that the President should first
\nbe dismissed from his post, either permanently or temporarily,
\nsince as we know, he refuses to abandon his office. We have then
\na kind of stale-mate situation like in a chess game.<\/p>\n
The problem is now the Special Session of the People's
\nConsultative Assembly cannot be convened at short notice and
\nwithout the will (proposal) of the entire members of the House of
\nRepresentatives.<\/p>\n
I am only afraid the more the President sounds defiant the
\nlarger the number of students who will take to the streets. If it
\nwere a game of chess, it looks like the king is in a checkmate
\nposition. Maybe that is why prominent citizens like Amien Rais
\nand Muslim intellectual Nurcholish Madjid advised the President
\nto give up the game.<\/p>\n
I do pray that the saints and the security authorities will
\nkeep the any turmoil under control and no blood will be shed
\nuntil the nation gets a new president.<\/p>\n
