        "content": "<p>The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has transferred the\ndetention of former Minister of Religious Affairs Yaqut Cholil Qoumas\nfrom the detention centre to house arrest following a request from his\nfamily. \u201cThe request came from the family,\u201d said KPK spokesperson Budi\nPrasetyo when confirmed by Kompas.com on Saturday (21\/3\/2026). The\nrequest was granted two days later. \u201cInvestigators have changed the type\nof detention for the suspect Mr YCQ, from detention at the KPK Detention\nCentre to house arrest, starting from Thursday evening (19\/3\/2026),\u201d\nBudi stated. This transfer of detention was carried out after reviewing\nArticle 108 paragraphs (1) and (11) of Law Number 20 of 2025 on the\nCriminal Procedure Code. The KPK stated that this transfer is only\ntemporary. \u201cWe ensure that the detention transfer process for this\ntemporary period complies with the provisions and procedures for\ninvestigation and detention of a suspect,\u201d Budi emphasised. \u201cDuring the\nimplementation of this detention transfer, the KPK will continue to\ncarry out close supervision and security for the individual concerned,\u201d\nBudi added.
