        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - Suspect in the alleged Hajj quota corruption case\nand former Minister of Religious Affairs Yaqut Cholil Qoumas, upon\narriving at the KPK\u2019s Merah Putih Building in Jakarta on Tuesday,\nclaimed to be grateful for being able to celebrate Eid at home, rather\nthan in state detention or a remand centre. \u201cAlhamdulillah, I was able\nto pay respects to my mother, to my mum,\u201d said Yaqut at the KPK\u2019s Merah\nPutih Building in Jakarta. When asked by journalists whether he was able\nto celebrate Eid at home due to a family request, Yaqut confirmed it.\n\u201cIt was our request,\u201d he said. Yaqut then walked towards the stairs to\nreturn to being a detainee at the KPK remand centre. Earlier, on 21\nMarch 2026, the wife of the defendant in the alleged extortion\ncorruption case and former Deputy Minister of Manpower Immanuel Ebenezer\nGerungan, namely Silvia Rinita Harefa, spoke to journalists after\nvisiting her husband. Silvia told the journalists waiting for her that\nthere was information circulating among the detainees about Yaqut not\nbeing seen in the state detention or remand centre. \u201cEarlier, I didn\u2019t\nsee Gus Yaqut. The info is that he left on Thursday (19\/3) night,\u201d said\nSilvia on Saturday (21\/3) afternoon.
