They include\nReligious Affairs Minister Nasaruddin Umar and Abdul Hakim Mahfudz, Head\nof the Pondok Pesantren (Islamic Boarding School) Tebuireng in Jombang,\nEast Java. Nasaruddin later withdrew his candidacy, saying he wanted to\nfocus on leading his ministry.<\/p>\n<p>Yahya said campaign teams for rival candidates had been maneuvering\nahead of the 35th PBNU Congress in Jombang. According to Yahya, they\nclaimed that President Prabowo Subianto supported a particular\ncandidate.
