Beijing (ANTARA) - Chinese President Xi Jinping and US President\nDonald Trump discussed the Ukraine crisis during their meeting in\nBeijing, according to a report by the Xinhua News Agency on\nThursday.<\/p>\n
The two leaders also exchanged views on major international and\nregional issues, such as the situation in the Middle East and the\nsituation on the Korean Peninsula.<\/p>\n
Earlier on the same occasion, Chinese President Xi Jinping said on\nThursday that China and the US have agreed to build a constructive,\nstrategic, and stable relationship as part of a new effort by the two\ncountries to build better relations.<\/p>\n
\u201cTogether with President Trump, we have agreed to form a\n\u2018constructive, strategic, and stable relationship between China and the\nUS\u2019 as a new effort to enhance China-US relations,\u201d said Xi Jinping\nduring the meeting with US President Donald Trump, as quoted by the\nXinhua News Agency.<\/p>\n
Previously, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated on Saturday (9\/5)\nthat interaction between Russia and China is the most important factor\nin stabilising international relations.<\/p>\n
Speaking at a press conference, Putin described cooperation between\ncountries like China and Russia as a \u201cclear factor of deterrence and\nstability\u201d in global affairs.<\/p>\n
He said that China is Russia\u2019s largest trading and economic partner,\nadding that bilateral trade diversification continues through high-tech\nindustries, which is very important.<\/p>\n
