One person was killed as a result of reckless riding by a\nmotorcyclist in Pakansari, Cibinong District, Bogor Regency. The\naccident was triggered by the perpetrator driving against the flow of\ntraffic.<\/p>\n
The incident occurred on Sunday (22\/2\/2026) at 03:00 Western\nIndonesian Time. The victim\u2019s vehicle collided with the motorcycle of\nthe perpetrator, identified by the initials AF, who was travelling in\nthe wrong direction.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe suspected perpetrator, AF, riding a Yamaha Mio, was moving from\nthe direction of Cibinong towards Bogor City in the wrong lane, veering\nleft and obstructing the road,\u201d said Acting Head of the Traffic\nEnforcement Unit at Bogor Police, Inspector Ares Rachman, to reporters\non Sunday (22\/2).<\/p>\n
\u201cAt the same time, a Honda Beat motorcycle rider travelling from\nBogor towards Jakarta, who was in the correct lane, was struck,\nresulting in a traffic collision,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
The accident caused the victim to die at the scene. Police and local\nresidents evacuated the victim to a hospital in Cibinong, Bogor\nRegency.<\/p>\n
