Writting contest results announced<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): Nulie Komerita, a high school student of SMA I,
\nJakarta, is the winner of the sixth annual writing competition
\nheld in celebrating the United Nations Day.<\/p>\n
The runnerup is Diana Fransyska of SMA 43 Jakarta, and
\nDianindah Apriani, of SMA 44 wins the third prize. At the fourth,
\nfifth and six places are Susan of SMA Theresia, Jakarta, and
\nAgung Setia Bakti of SMA I, Tangerang, West Java, and Erwan Pitra
\nJayta of SMA Islam Al-Azhar I, Jakarta.<\/p>\n
Djudju Abdulrachman, the chairperson of the organizing
\ncommittee said yesterday Nulie will get Jakarta-London round trip
\nticket from British Airways, Rp 500,000 (US$218) saving, books
\nand trophy.<\/p>\n
Diana will get Rp 300,000 saving as the runnerup, while Rp
\n200,000 will be given to Dianindah. The fourth, fifth and sixth
\nprize holders will get Rp 150,000 each.<\/p>\n
The prizes will be awarded in a ceremony on Nov. 28.<\/p>\n
The competition was jointly held by the United Nations
\nInformation Center Jakarta and Lions Club Indonesia Multiple
\nDistrict 307.<\/p>\n
The theme of the competition was National Discipline in Facing
\nthe Negative Impacts of Globalization.<\/p>\n
Sutarto, head of the judges team of the competition said that
\n121 students took place in the competition held last month. (32)<\/p>",
