As a female employee working on Jl. Jenderal Sudirman, I feel
\nworried when I go to the office every day. On my way to work and
\nin the office I always think that something bad might happen; be
\nit a bomb blast, a demonstration leading to anarchy or other
\nforms of violence. All these make me feel even more frightened.<\/p>\n
Recently, political outrage in this country has become more
\nheated. Conflicts among the political elite are intensifying. The
\nantagonism between the pro-President supporters and those wishing
\nto topple him is even more striking. There is an impression that
\nthe President will not be able to carry out his duties because of
\nthe various disturbing factors brought about by the parties who
\ndistrust him.<\/p>\n
I feel concerned if security and peace will prevail in this
\ncountry. Even now I still feel nervous and cannot work
\nefficiently for fear something horrible might happen near me.<\/p>\n
I would like to call on the political elite to stop all forms
\nof quibbling that are capable of trigging an uproar. To the
\nparties who are funding the demonstrations we appeal that you
\nstop your unsympathetic moves. Be aware that your attitude only
\nworsens the situation. Frankly, I sometimes feel disgusted with
\nthe demos which are not motivated by inner conscience but by a
\ncertain amount of money paid to those demonstrators.<\/p>\n
