        "content": "<p>World-class school to be built in Yogya<\/p>\n<p>YOGYAKARTA: In cooperation with the Yogyakarta provincial<br>\ngovernment, the Sampoerna Foundation is set to open an<br>\ninternationally accredited senior high school in Yogyakarta. The<br>\nschool, which is expected to open in July 2006, will admit some<br>\n90 to 100 first year students in its first year, said the<br>\nschool's chief operating officer Elan Eddy.<\/p>\n<p>The school will make use of a former youth center located in<br>\nSleman regency belonging to the Yogyakarta provincial government,<br>\nsaid Achmad Rizali Gaffar, the foundation's project coordinator.<\/p>\n<p>SF will also work with a Swiss-based International<br>\nBaccalaureate Organization (IBO) that will give the school's<br>\ngraduates internationally recognized certificates. \"As IBO<br>\ncertified graduates, they can apply directly to a university<br>\nabroad that has links with the IBO. They do not need to take a<br>\nspecial exam,\" Nanang said.<\/p>\n<p>Sampoerna Foundation, a social wing of giant tobacco firm PT<br>\nHM Sampoerna, is a non-governmental institution that focuses on<br>\neducation.
