Workers' hospital built<\/p>\n
JAKARTA: Manpower Minister Jacob Nuwa Wea laid the first
\ncornerstone of a workers' hospital in Banda Aceh on Saturday.<\/p>\n
\"Now that the Aceh governor and the Aceh Besar district chief
\nhave made a real start to construct this hospital, we will
\nseriously support the project,\" Minister Jacob said.<\/p>\n
The hospital is located on a five-hectare plot of land in
\nLambaro subdistrict, Aceh Besar district, about 15 kilometers
\nfrom Banda Aceh, Naggroe Aceh Darussalam (NAD)'s provincial
\ncapital.<\/p>\n
Money to cover the project's costs would come from the
\nWorkers' Social Insurance (Jamsostek) fund managed by the
\nManpower Ministry and from the United Arab Emirates (UAE)
\ngovernment, Jacob said. --Antara<\/p>\n
The local administration and his ministry still needed to
\nagree on a mechanism to ensure the smooth disbursement of the
\ncommitted funds so that the project did not have to undergo any
\ndelay because of bureaucratic hitches, he said.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, UAE's deputy ambassador to Indonesia, Ahmed Al
\nHosani, who was present at the first-corner-stone laying
\nceremony, said he would soon contact his government about the
\nfinancial assistance it had agreed to provide for the project.<\/p>",
