        "content": "<p>Work starts on Ngawi rest area<\/p>\n<p>SURABAYA: The East Java provincial administration is currently<br>\nbuilding a rest area for motorists near the border with Central<br>\nJava in Ngawi.<\/p>\n<p>The facility, which is expected to be completed in March next<br>\nyear, is built off a busy highway in Pengkol, a village near the<br>\ntown of Ngawi, Antara reported.<\/p>\n<p>The two-hectare facility includes restaurants and cafes as<br>\nwell as a children's playground, a garden and souvenir shops.<\/p>\n<p>Abdul Muis, head of marketing at the East Java office of the<br>\nMinistry of Tourism, Post and Telecommunication, said the<br>\npresence of the rest area is expected to help reduce traffic<br>\naccidents along the busy East Java and Central Java road.<\/p>\n<p>Similar facilities will also be built between Banyuwangi and<br>\nJember, and between Tuban and Bojonegoro, Abdul Muis said.
