The WFA is scheduled to occur both before and after the Eid\npublic holiday period.<\/p>\n<p>WFA Schedule for Civil Servants 2026<\/p>\n<p>The WFA policy for civil servants during Eid 2026 is regulated under\nthe Circular Letter of the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and\nBureaucratic Reform No.\u00a02\/2026 concerning the Adjustment of Duty\nImplementation for Civil Servants in Government Institutions during\nNational Holidays and Joint Leave for the Holy Day of Nyepi and Eid\nal-Fitr 1447 Hijriah.<\/p>\n<p>According to the circular, WFA for civil servants will take place\non:<\/p>\n<p>Two days before the national holiday and joint leave for the Holy Day\nof Nyepi (Saka Year 1948):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><p>Monday, 16 March 2026<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Tuesday, 17 March 2026<\/p><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Three days after the national holiday and joint leave for Eid al-Fitr\n1447 Hijriah:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><p>Wednesday, 25 March 2026<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Thursday, 26 March 2026<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Friday, 27 March 2026<\/p><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform\nclarified that this WFA arrangement should not be interpreted as an\nextension of public holidays, but rather as a flexible work arrangement\nto maintain government continuity and public service delivery during the\nnational holiday and joint leave period.<\/p>\n<p>WFA Schedule for Private Sector Employees 2026<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, private sector employees are also permitted to work from\nanywhere during the 2026 Eid holiday period.<\/p>\n<p>This is regulated under the Circular Letter of the Minister of\nManpower No.\u00a0M\/2\/HK.04\/II\/2026 concerning the Implementation of Work\nFrom Anywhere for Workers in Companies during the Holy Day of Nyepi and\nEid al-Fitr 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Private sector employees may conduct WFA during 2026 Eid on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><p>Monday, 16 March 2026<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Tuesday, 17 March 2026<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Wednesday, 25 March 2026<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Thursday, 26 March 2026<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Friday, 27 March 2026<\/p><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It should be noted that WFA implementation may be exempted for\ncertain sectors, including healthcare, logistics, transport, security,\nhospitality, shopping centres, manufacturing, food and beverage\nindustries, other essential sectors, or those related to production\ncontinuity.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, WFA is not counted as annual leave.<\/p>",
