        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Investment Management Agency (BPI) Danantara\nhas assured that the work culture transformation being promoted by the\ngovernment will not disrupt public services or the productivity of\nstate-owned companies.<\/p>\n<p>Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of BPI Danantara, who is also the\nMinister of Investment and Downstreaming\/Head of the Investment\nCoordinating Board (BKPM), Rosan Roeslani, during an online press\nconference monitored from Jakarta on Tuesday, emphasised that\nproductivity and the quality of services remain the top priorities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will also immediately follow up on the state-owned enterprises\nunder our auspices, but while still upholding productivity and ensuring\nthat public services continue to run as usual,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He stressed that the transformation is aimed at improving performance\nefficiency without sacrificing the quality of services to the\npublic.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut we will increase it even more and make it more efficient while\nstill upholding productivity,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga\nHartarto explained that the government is applying an eight-point policy\nfor national work culture transformation designed to address global\ndynamics challenges while safeguarding domestic economic stability.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis situation is not an obstacle, but rather an opportunity for us\nto accelerate modern and efficient behavioural changes,\u201d said\nAirlangga.<\/p>\n<p>He affirmed that the national economy remains stable with strong\nfundamentals, including the availability of fuel stocks and maintained\nfiscal stability. Therefore, the public is urged to remain calm and\ncarry out economic activities as usual.<\/p>\n<p>One of the policies in this transformation is the implementation of\nwork from home (WFH) for civil servants (ASN) for one day per week,\nnamely every Friday.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the government is also promoting mobility efficiency\nthrough restrictions on the use of official vehicles by up to 50 per\ncent, as well as reductions in domestic and overseas official trips.<\/p>\n<p>Similar policies are also being encouraged in the private sector with\nadjustments according to the characteristics of each industry. However,\nseveral sectors are exempted from the WFH scheme, including public\nservices, health, security, as well as strategic sectors such as energy,\nfood, transportation, and finance.<\/p>\n<p>The government is also urging the public to implement energy\nefficiency and optimise the use of public transportation.<\/p>",
