Women, children mutilated<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): A woman and her three children were found dead
\nyesterday at their home in Ciracas, East Jakarta, in what police
\ndescribed as one of the most sadistic crimes ever committed here.<\/p>\n
An eight-month-old baby, who was found hanging, survived and
\nwas taken to a hospital.<\/p>\n
The four victims -- Eli Kusnaeni, 31, Gilang, 8, Citra, 4,
\nRizky, 2 -- were all found badly mutilated.<\/p>\n
They were first discovered by her eldest daughter, 10-year-old
\nMieke, as she returned from school after midday. Her shrieking
\nscreams drew her neighbors, who quickly alerted the police.<\/p>\n
The neighbors first thought that eight-month-old Erika was
\ndead. When they discovered she was still breathing, they quickly
\ntook her to the hospital. She was discharged a few hours later
\nand put in the care of relatives.<\/p>\n
Eli's husband, Rohadi, a junior high school teacher, was not
\nin the house at the time.<\/p>\n
Jakarta Police Chief Maj. Gen. Dibyo Widodo, who came to the
\nhouse, described the killing as more \"sadistic\" than the clubbing
\nto death of the six members of the Herbin Hutagalung family in
\nBekasi last year that shook the nation.<\/p>\n
\"We will unveil this case as soon as possible,\" he promised.<\/p>\n
Police were puzzled by the motive but ruled out robbery
\nbecause valuable belongings inside the house remained intact.<\/p>\n
The bodies of the four victims were taken to the Cipto
\nMangunkusumo general hospital for autopsies.<\/p>\n
According to Namin, a neighbor, the Rohadis had only moved to
