        "content": "<p>'Woman's Dignity'<\/p>\n<p>From Pelita<\/p>\n<p>The Indonesian Moslem Prosperous Consultative Council (Majelis<br>\nMukmin) would like to appeal to RCTI to reconsider the screening<br>\nof the TV drama Harkat Wanita (Woman's Dignity) starring Ira<br>\nWibowo. This appeal is made in connection with the widespread<br>\nprotests from the society (particularly the Moslem community),<br>\nover a portion of the story in which Ira Wibowo boldly shows that<br>\nshe is violating Islamic law, i.e. Law No.1\/1974 concerning<br>\nmarriages. This law pointedly stipulates that a Moslem woman is<br>\nprohibited from marrying a non-Moslem man. Nationally, Article 2<br>\nparagraph 1 states that a marriage is legal when it is approved<br>\nby the couple's religion.
