        "content": "<p>Woman questioned for harboring foreigners<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): The Directorate General of Immigration is<br>\nquestioning a woman for allegedly accommodating foreigners who<br>\nentered the country without legal documents.<\/p>\n<p>The acting spokesman for the Immigration Directorate General,<br>\nMursanudin A. Ghani, said in a release distributed to The Jakarta<br>\nPost that the arrest of Mrs. Djaenab Rusmijati Everaers, alias<br>\nTati, was made following the arrest of a Moroccan man, Mohamed<br>\nSaidi, in her home on Jl. Gurame, Pasar Minggu in South Jakarta<br>\non Sept. 10. The Moroccan was arrested for lacking documents.<\/p>\n<p>The release did not say how many foreigners had been received<br>\nby the woman in her home.<\/p>\n<p>The woman holds a Dutch passport and has an entrance permit<br>\n(KIM) issued by the South Jakarta Immigration office. The<br>\nsuspect, however, still has an Indonesian ID issued by the Pasar<br>\nMinggu district office and a family card signed by the Pasar<br>\nMinggu subdistrict head, N. Mulyana.<\/p>\n<p>According to Mursanudin, the Dutch embassy has confirmed that<br>\nTati is a Dutch citizen.<\/p>\n<p>The woman was the wife of a Dutch man, Everaers Mathias<br>\nHenricus Yozef, who died in 1990. She then married Mohamed Saidi,<br>\nthe Moroccan who was arrested on Sept. 10. Muhamed Saidi and Tati<br>\nhave a daughter named Rosita Dewi Margareta.<\/p>\n<p>The woman was also blamed for not reporting her move from her<br>\nold residence in Permata Hijau, Blok C 1\/4 to Jl. Gurame in South<br>\nJakarta.<\/p>\n<p>Quoting the director of the supervision and action office at<br>\nthe Immigration Directorate General, Mursanudin said those<br>\naccommodating foreigners must report to police or an immigration<br>\noffice within 24 hours or they will receive a maximum punishment<br>\nof one year in prison or a Rp 5,000,000 fine.
