Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Waskita Karya Infrastruktur (WKI) has achieved\ntwo awards at the TOP GRC Awards 2026, an event that emphasises\nexcellence in corporate governance, risk management, and compliance\n(GRC).<\/p>\n
According to an official statement from WKI in Jakarta on Friday, the\ntwo awards include the TOP GRC Awards 2026 - 4 Stars predicate for WKI,\nand \u2018The Most Committed GRC Leader 2026\u2019, awarded to the Acting\nPresident Director of WKI, Bambang Dwi Wijayanto.<\/p>\n
Bambang stated that the 4-star rating received by WKI represents an\nimprovement from the previous year, when the company achieved a 3-star\nrating.<\/p>\n
\u201cFor us, GRC is not merely about fulfilling regulatory obligations.\nWe integrate GRC into every business decision, from the strategic to the\noperational level, to ensure the Company\u2019s growth remains healthy,\nmeasurable, and sustainable,\u201d said Bambang.<\/p>\n
At WKI, the implementation of GRC is manifested through risk-based\ntender reviews, a Risk Management Committee, an Investment and\nDivestment Committee, centralised payments, and the integration of risk\nindicators with key performance indicators (KPIs).<\/p>\n
Bambang noted that these mechanisms assist management in identifying\nrisks from the planning stage, establishing mitigations, and monitoring\ntheir implementation.<\/p>\n
As a company operating in the infrastructure sector, WKI faces risks\nrelated to contracts, funding, operations, and compliance. Consequently,\nrisk management is utilised to strengthen project selection, contract\ncontrol, cash flow monitoring, and fraud risk mitigation.<\/p>\n
\u201cRisk management does not directly generate revenue. Its contribution\nis helping to ensure that revenue is obtained from healthier decisions\nand projects, with acceptable risks, maintained margins, and controlled\ncash flows. Our measure of success is not the number of risks recorded,\nbut the quality of decisions and the corporate value that can be\nprotected,\u201d explained Bambang.<\/p>\n
He continued that the strengthening of GRC aligns with WKI\u2019s vision\nto become a trusted partner in the fields of sustainable infrastructure\nand new and renewable energy (EBT).<\/p>\n
