        "content": "<p>JAKARTA \u2013 Deka Perdanawan, Operational Director of PT Delta\nIndonesia, one of the occupational safety and health service companies\n(PJK3) contracted by the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker), testified that\nhis company deposited more than Rp 4.4 billion to Kemnaker officials\nnamed as defendants in the trial.<\/p>\n<p>Deka testified as a witness in the trial for alleged corruption\ncharges related to extortion in processing K3 certificates, with the\ndefendant being former Deputy Minister of Manpower (Wamenaker) Immanuel\nEbenezer, known as Noel, and other defendants.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom the data at PT Delta or as you recall, what is the total amount\nyou have given to Kemnaker employees that you mentioned earlier?\u201d asked\none of the prosecutors in the hearing at Jakarta\u2019s Corruption Court on\nMonday, 2 March 2026.<\/p>\n<p>During the trial, Deka mentioned several costs that needed to be\npaid, both in cash and transferred to accounts provided by the\ndefendants.<\/p>\n<p>For example, the Appointment Decision Letter (SKP) required renewal\nevery two years. Deka explained that when creating and renewing the SKP,\nhe needed to pay Rp 5 million per certificate.<\/p>\n<p>For paying training facilitator fees, Deka spent Rp 250,000-500,000\nper facilitator.<\/p>\n<p>Starting from the Institutional Coordinator and K3 Personnel of\nKemnaker for 2022-2025, Irvian Bobby Mahendro, Coordinator of Safety\nTesting and Competency Evaluation of Kemnaker for 2022 to present, Gerry\nAditya Herwanto Putra, Sub-coordinator of Occupational Safety at the\nDirectorate of K3 Development of Kemnaker for 2020-2025 Subhan, and many\nothers.<\/p>\n<p>When asked about the exact amount given to the defendants, Deka said\nhe did not remember and claimed to have provided all data to\ninvestigators.<\/p>\n<p>The prosecutor then read out calculations that had been confirmed\nduring the investigation stage.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAccording to your statement number 19, this is what you may recall.\nFrom this Bank Mandiri account the total is Rp 3,278,350,000. From BCA\naccount Rp 1,197,250,000, yes?\u201d asked the prosecutor.<\/p>\n<p>Deka confirmed his statement.<\/p>\n<p>When combined, the total deposits from PT Delta to the defendants\nreached Rp 4,475,600,000.<\/p>\n<p>During the trial, Deka repeatedly mentioned that he had to deposit\nthe money because he was worried that the certificates submitted by his\ncompany would not be issued by Kemnaker.<\/p>",
