        "content": "<p>JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Communications and Digital Minister Meutya\nHafid announced that the Wikimedia Foundation has started the\nregistration process as an Electronic System Operator (PSE) after\nintensive communication with the government.<\/p>\n<p>Meutya stated that the step taken by Wikimedia represents the\nplatform\u2019s commitment to complying with applicable regulations in\nIndonesia.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is already an agreement, including a commitment to comply with\nthe laws in force in Indonesia,\u201d Meutya said at the Kemenkomdigi office\nin Jakarta on Tuesday (28\/4\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>This regulation applies to all electronic system operators, both\nlocal and foreign, as well as commercial and non-profit entities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll PSEs must register.
