In his address, Soekarno outlined the nation\u2019s foundational\nprinciples for the soon-to-be-independent Indonesia. The concept he\npresented became known as Pancasila, serving as the ideological bedrock\nof the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI). This 1945\nspeech marked a pivotal moment in shaping Indonesia\u2019s national\nfoundation and is regarded as the origin of the term \u2018Pancasila\u2019,\nderived from Sanskrit: \u2018panca\u2019 meaning five and \u2018sila\u2019 signifying\nprinciples or foundations.
