Under heavy pressure from students and others, law enforcers
\nhave shown that they are able to take bold action against
\ncorruptors. One such move is detaining former minister of mines
\nand energy Ginandjar Kartasasmita at the Attorney General's
\nOffice.<\/p>\n
However, it is unfair if only Ginandjar was to blame.
\nCorruption, collusion and nepotism would not have occurred if his
\nbusiness colleagues hadn't had their share (in the form of
\nkickbacks) in the multibillion rupiah worth of contracts.<\/p>\n
The law enforcers should have promptly investigated
\nGinandjar's cronies and the corruption tainted-cases which
\ninvolve deals worth trillions of rupiah. These people have
\nclearly looted the country. The authorities must immediately
\ninvestigate all private companies linked to Ginandjar before the
\ncompanies' directors and employees divide the \"profits\", or
\nchange their company's name to evade legal suits.<\/p>\n
Those who have knowledge regarding these crimes and want to
\nsee the people who have plundered the country brought to justice,
\nshould be willing to give accurate information if requested.<\/p>\n
