        "content": "<p>Why does Aceh want to separate?<\/p>\n<p>I am a Canadian Muslim who has come to know about two very sad<br>\nfacts regarding Indonesia, which is home to the largest<br>\npopulation of our Muslim brothers and sisters in the world.<br>\n- There is rampant corruption at every level of the government.<br>\nCould this be possibly true? If it is true, then I feel very<br>\ndejected. If we Muslims really know Allah, then corruption and<br>\nbribery should be the last thing people would want to indulge in.<br>\n- The Indonesian government needs to seriously ask itself why<br>\nAceh wants to separate. Why would a part of you want to separate?<br>\nBoth the central government and the Free Aceh Movement (GAM)<br>\nshould know that nothing in this world belongs to us. As Muslims,<br>\nwe should know that this whole earth belongs to Allah.<\/p>\n<p>Our children, our properties, our very lives do not belong to<br>\nus -- they belong to Allah. The GAM should strive to bond with<br>\ntheir brethren in the rest of Indonesia. The Indonesian<br>\ngovernment should deal with utmost justice and compassion with<br>\nthe Acehnese.
