With members of the House of Representatives failing or
\nrefusing to listen to the voice of people they represent, I
\nwonder who they are really speaking for. As almost everything
\nthey do has not met public expectations, they may represent other
\ninterests.<\/p>\n
In the case of fuel, it turns out that the fuel price increase
\nis connected with the plan to liberalize the sector. The
\ngovernment wants to give more opportunities to foreign
\ninvestors in oil and gas retail businesses.<\/p>\n
It is not surprising that from the start, foreign intervention
\nin the government's fuel policy has been so high. This indicates
\nhow easily the authorities have bowed to foreign interests.<\/p>\n
Worse still, as House members are expected to speak for the
\npopulation, they have done nothing significant except allowing
\nthe process of liberalization, which is dangerous for the nation,
