        "content": "<p>What about it, PBSI?<\/p>\n<p>From Merdeka<\/p>\n<p>Since the recent failure of the Indonesian singles and doubles<br>\nteams at the All England tournament, it appears that the year did<br>\nnot get off to a bright start for badminton players.<\/p>\n<p>Hopes for semi finalist, Haryanto Arbi, were dashed when he<br>\nfailed to break his opponent&apos;s supremacy in the field and did not<br>\nmake it into the final.<\/p>\n<p>The same was to be said about the doubles team of Chandra<br>\nWijaya and Sigit Budiarto. They too could not control their<br>\nopponents which killed all hopes for an All England winner.<\/p>\n<p>Before this poor performance, badminton players, whether<br>\nsingles or doubles, always came home winners from this<br>\nprestigious sport event. Rudi Hartono is one example. He won the<br>\nAll England cup eight times in a row.<\/p>\n<p>But this year it seems Lady Fortuna has stayed away for some<br>\nreason or another. Are our players not blessed with a competitive<br>\nspirit?  Or were they still suffering from the &quot;new year&apos;s after<br>\neffect&quot; when players blamed the All Indonesian Badminton<br>\nFederation (PBSI) for unfairness? What about it, PBSI?<\/p>\n<p>We hope our players will develop and that the association will<br>\nrevive Indonesian victories as of old.
