"summary": "Indonesia's government has implemented a policy allowing civil servants (ASN) to work from home every Friday, effective from 10 April 2026, as a measure to promote energy efficiency amid the Middle East conflict. This flexible four-day office schedule, previously trialled during the Covid-19 pandemic, ensures public services continue uninterrupted through remote work and digital oversight. The Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform emphasises that WFH is not a holiday, with performance reporting and supervision remaining mandatory to maintain organisational productivity.",
