        "content": "<p>MANPOWER Minister Yassierli has signed Manpower Minister Circular\nLetter Number M\/2\/HK.04\/1I\/2026. The letter regulates the implementation\nof work from anywhere (WFA) for workers or employees of companies during\nthe Nyepi Holy Day and Eid al-Fitr 2026 holiday periods.<\/p>\n<p>The letter, dated 13 February 2026, was issued to optimize public\nmobility during the holiday periods surrounding the two upcoming\nreligious observances.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs well as to maintain work productivity and drive economic growth\nin the first quarter of 2026,\u201d said Yassierli through Circular Letter\nM\/2\/HK.04\/1I\/2026.<\/p>\n<p>The letter is addressed to company leaders or business operators\nthroughout Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHereby, you are encouraged to provide workers\/employees with the\nopportunity to work from another location, or work from anywhere (WFA),\u201d\nsaid Yassierli.<\/p>\n<p>The implementation of WFA is subject to the following provisions:<\/p>\n<ol type=\"1\">\n<li><p>WFA shall be implemented on 16-17 March 2026 and is expected to\nalso be applied on 25-27 March 2026. The implementation of WFA shall\ntake into account company needs and consider the potential surge in\nmobility from the return flow of homecoming travelers after celebrating\nEid al-Fitr.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>WFA implementation may be exempted for certain sectors such as\nhealthcare, logistics, transportation, security, hospitality, shopping\ncenters, manufacturing, food and beverage industries, other essential\nsectors, or those related to production continuity.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>WFA shall not be counted as annual leave.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Workers or employees implementing WFA shall continue to carry out\ntheir duties and obligations.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Wages during WFA shall be provided in accordance with the wages\nreceived when working at the regular workplace or as agreed\nupon.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Working hours and supervision of work performed by workers or\nemployees under WFA shall be arranged by the company in such a way that\nworkers remain productive.<\/p><\/li>\n<\/ol>",
