        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) \u2014 National construction company PT PP (Persero) Tbk\nhas reported that construction progress on the West Residence Road\nupgrade in the Core Area of the National Capital Government Zone (KIPP)\nin Nusantara (IKN) has reached 65.85 per cent as of March 2026.<\/p>\n<p>PT PP Corporate Secretary Joko Raharjo stated that this achievement\nexceeded the planned target of 60.69 per cent, representing\napproximately 5.15 per cent faster progress than scheduled.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPT PP remains committed to delivering the highest construction\nquality and ensuring that this strategic national project in the\nNusantara Capital can proceed on schedule and provide benefits for area\ndevelopment and connectivity in the future,\u201d Joko said in a statement\nissued in Jakarta on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>The project is being carried out by a consortium comprising PT PP, PT\nMada Wikri Tunggal (MWT) and PT Satria Bahana Sarana (SBS) under a\nCooperative Working Arrangement (KSO). Work commenced following the\nissuance of a Work Order Letter (SPMK) on 29 July 2024, with the project\ncontract valued at approximately 1.3 trillion rupiah.<\/p>\n<p>In executing the project, PT PP and its KSO consortium partners have\nimplemented various construction innovations and logistics optimisation\nto maintain accelerated progress amid high construction activity across\nthe IKN area.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond supporting the new capital\u2019s infrastructure development, the\nproject has also generated economic benefits for the region through the\nabsorption of approximately 600 workers and involvement of partner\ncompanies and subcontractors.<\/p>\n<p>With progress exceeding targets, PT PP believes the West Residence\nRoad construction will soon support mobility and connectivity in the\ngovernment core area of IKN.<\/p>\n<p>The infrastructure development aligns with government efforts to\npromote balanced development and new economic growth across various\nregions of Indonesia and supports the national development vision of\nAsta Cita.<\/p>",
