        "content": "<p>Simpang Empat \u2014 The West Pasaman Regency Government, alongside the\nRegional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), conducted surprise\ninspections at several palm oil mills to remind companies not to\nunilaterally reduce the price of fresh fruit bunches (TBS).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToday, we visited two palm oil mills: PT Agro Wira Ligatsa (AWL) and\nPT Berkat Sawit Sejahtera (BSS). We reminded them not to lower TBS\nprices unilaterally,\u201d stated Regent Yulianto in Simpang Empat on\nMonday.<\/p>\n<p>He emphasised that palm oil mills must adhere to the official prices\nset by the West Sumatra Provincial team weekly and the partial prices in\naccordance with Minister of Agriculture Regulation No.\u00a013 of 2024.<\/p>\n<p>The regent, together with Forkopimda, Regional Secretary Doddy San\nIsmail, and several heads of government agencies, conducted the site\nvisits as part of government monitoring, evaluation, and oversight of\npalm oil mills\u2019 TBS pricing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI urge all companies to comply with established regulations. There\nis no justification for TBS prices to drop significantly below\ngovernment-set rates,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>He stressed that palm oil companies are prohibited from manipulating\nprices, unilaterally reducing TBS prices contrary to regulations, or\nusing speculation or claims of new regulatory adjustments as\nexcuses.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that TBS purchase prices must reflect the actual market\nprices of crude palm oil (CPO) and its derivatives.<\/p>",
