        "content": "<p>The Directorate General of Immigration for West Papua has established\na cooperation agreement with PT Conch Semen Papua to improve the\ndelivery of immigration services at the immigration checkpoint (TPI)\nwithin the company\u2019s special terminal. The signing of the agreement took\nplace at the Manokwari Class I TPI Immigration Office hall on Wednesday,\nas part of efforts to strengthen the role of the Directorate General of\nImmigration as a facilitator of development. Head of the West Papua\nRegional Office of the Directorate General of Immigration, Asrul, stated\nthat collaboration between the government and the business sector is a\nstrategic step to create a safe, orderly, and conducive investment\nclimate. \u201cThrough this cooperation, we are not only carrying out service\nand law enforcement functions, but also strengthening our role as a\nfacilitator of development by providing support for investment,\u201d said\nAsrul. He explained that the cooperation aims to ensure that immigration\ninspection services for the movement of people at PT Conch Semen Papua\u2019s\nspecial terminal are effective, orderly, and in accordance with laws and\nregulations. The Regional Office, through the Manokwari Class I TPI\nImmigration Office, will act as the technical executor, with duties\nincluding the inspection of travel documents, granting permission to\nenter and leave Indonesian territory according to immigration authority,\nand supervising the movement of people using the special terminal.\nDirector of PT Conch Semen Papua, Peng Shaobin, expressed appreciation\nfor the cooperation and affirmed the company\u2019s commitment to\ncontinuously improving coordination with Immigration officials. He\nstated that this coordination would be carried out through periodic\nreporting and supervision of foreign workers employed within PT Conch\nSemen Papua, in compliance with immigration laws and regulations.
