The West Java Private Schools Forum (FKSS) has protested the use of the 'CADAS' application, alleging it allows the provincial education agency to fill empty seats in state schools after the official admission process has ended. The forum argues this practice unfairly draws students who have already enrolled and paid fees at private schools, threatening their financial stability and academic planning. FKSS is demanding the immediate cessation of the application and calling on the provincial government to ensure a balanced educational ecosystem.

The West Java Private Schools Forum (FKSS) has questioned the
existence of the Cadangan SPMB (CADAS) application, which is allegedly
used internally by the West Java Education Agency to fill vacant seats
in state schools. The application is considered to have harmed Private
Cooperation Schools (SSK), as it is operated after all stages of the
Student Admission Process (SPMB) for the 2026/2027 academic year have
officially concluded.

FKSS Chairman Ade D Hendriana stated that the forum is requesting the
immediate cessation of the CADAS application. He explained that the
entire SPMB process for the 2026/2027 academic year had already ended on
14 July 2026. The implementation of CADAS after the official process has
caused unrest among private schools, as prospective students who had
officially re-registered, paid administrative fees, and even
participated in the School Environment Introduction Period (MPLS) at
private institutions have transferred to state schools. This situation
has directly impacted the stability of education delivery in private
schools.

Ade Hendriana detailed that the impact is felt in academic planning,
school finances, and public trust in private schools. He emphasised that
private schools have consistently strived to support the policies of the
West Java Provincial Government and the Education Agency, including the
Private Cooperation Schools programme. However, the application of CADAS
after the SPMB stages were completed has added to the disappointment and
uncertainty for private schools.

In response, FKSS Jabar has submitted demands to the West Java
Education Agency. They are calling for the immediate cessation of the
CADAS application and strict adherence to the established official SPMB
regulations and schedule. They also demand assurance that prospective
students who have already re-registered at private schools will not be
transferred to state schools. Furthermore, FKSS is urging the
maintenance of a balanced educational ecosystem between state and
private schools, hoping the provincial government will take steps that
favour legal certainty, justice, and the sustainability of education in
West Java.
",
