        "content": "<p>The Cyber Crime Directorate of the West Java Regional Police has\napprehended four young men belonging to a syndicate involved in the\ntheft and dissemination of personal data (doxing) belonging to several\npublic officials. One of the victims of this illegal activity is the\nMinister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), Bahlil Lahadalia.<\/p>\n<p>According to reports, the four suspects detained played different\nroles in executing their operations. AH (22), a resident of Jakarta,\nacted as the primary perpetrator. He was assisted by BDJ (22), who\nserved as the developer of the application programming interface (API);\nAS (21), who provided identity tracking services; and AR (33), who\nassembled the Telegram bots.<\/p>\n<p>Among the evidence presented during the press conference at the West\nJava Regional Police Headquarters, it was revealed that one of the\npublic officials whose data was doxed was Minister of Energy and Mineral\nResources Bahlil Lahadalia.<\/p>\n<p>The Head of Public Relations for the West Java Regional Police,\nKombes Hendra Rochmawan, revealed that this syndicate marketed its\nservices through the Telegram and Instagram platforms. The perpetrators\noffered access to database lookups that included sensitive information,\nsuch as National Identity Card (NIK) numbers, addresses, and private\ntelephone numbers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe modus operandi used by these individuals involves the illegal\ntrade of personal data by offering tracking services and showcasing the\npersonal data of others through the Instagram account <span class=\"citation\" data-cites=\"azatzx25\">@azatzx25<\/span>,\u201d said Hendra on\nWednesday (16\/09\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>Access to this data was not provided for free. Users were required to\npay a certain amount of money or top up balances via electronic payment\nmethods. One of the products sold was a Telegram bot named \u2018Bangor\u2019,\nwhich was managed by the suspect AS.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt cost Rp 700,000,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Hendra further noted that the database contained the personal\ninformation of important figures, which had previously caused\nsignificant unrest in digital spaces.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis part became quite viral; one of the posts was titled \u2018Data Leak\nPejabat Negara\u2019 (State Official Data Leak),\u201d he concluded.<\/p>",
