        "content": "<p>The West Java Regional Police (Polda Jabar) will soon transfer the\ncase file of Taufik Hidayat, a suspect in the severe abuse and\nconfinement of Yuvita Tri Rezeki (29), to the High Prosecutor\u2019s Office\n(Kejati). The police are currently conducting further investigation and\nre-examining witnesses regarding the actions taken by the\nperpetrator.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe (Taufik Hidayat) case file has been completed in terms of\ndocumentation,\u201d said West Java Police Public Relations Head, Senior\nCommissioner Hendra Rochmawan, on Saturday (18\/7\/2026). He stated that\ninvestigators continue to delve deeper and re-check witness statements\nconcerning the perpetrator\u2019s actions.<\/p>\n<p>Hendra explained that the police have already conducted a\nreconstruction of the case at the West Java Police headquarters on 2\nJuly 2026. A total of 21 scenes were re-enacted by the suspect Taufik\nHidayat across three main crime scenes.<\/p>\n<p>Given the criminal acts committed by Taufik Hidayat, the police are\ncharging the suspect with multiple articles, namely those concerning\nabuse, confinement, and violence. \u201cThis is the legal construction we\nhave applied and strengthened with the relevant elements of the\narticles,\u201d he said. A total of 31 individuals have been examined as\nwitnesses by investigators from the Directorate of PPA and PPO of the\nWest Java Police. \u201cCurrently, we have examined 31, but there are still\ntwo additional ones we need to strengthen,\u201d he added.<\/p>",
