        "content": "<p>The West Java Regional Police have confirmed that Taufik Hidayat, a\nsuspect in the case of false imprisonment and abuse against a woman with\nthe initials YTR in Bandung Regency, was arrested by law enforcement and\ndid not surrender, contrary to narratives circulating among the public.\nHead of Public Relations for the West Java Police, Senior Commissioner\nHendra Rochmawan, stated that Taufik was successfully apprehended by a\njoint team from the West Java Police in the Greater Bandung area on\nTuesday evening after previously moving from place to place to evade\nofficers. \u201cYes, he did not surrender and was arrested in the Greater\nBandung area,\u201d Hendra said in Bandung on Thursday. According to him, the\nsuspect had been hiding in several locations before finally being\narrested by police in the Majalaya area, Bandung Regency. Hendra also\nrevealed that investigators will examine a witness named Dadang Ahyar,\nwho is suspected of knowing the suspect\u2019s movements during his time on\nthe run. \u201cHe is one of the witnesses and we will conduct an examination.\nA visual examination has been carried out, but there will be further\nfollow-up,\u201d he said. Previously, Taufik Hidayat was named a suspect in the\ncase of false imprisonment and abuse against YTR, which allegedly lasted\nfor approximately three years in a boarding house in the Cileunyi area,\nBandung Regency. The victim suffered a number of severe injuries\naffecting her physical condition, including impaired vision, difficulty\nspeaking, and an inability to walk normally.<\/p>",
