The West Java Regional Board of the National Awakening Party (DPW\nPKB) is preparing to hold a grand event titled PKBFest & DPAC\nInauguration on Sunday (14\/6\/2026), at the Youth Centre Arcamanik,\nBandung City. Carrying the theme \u201cFor You, West Java, PKB Devotes\nItself\u201d, the event marks an important momentum to reinforce the\ndirection of the party\u2019s devotion and service commitment to the people\nand community across West Java.<\/p>\n
Chairman of DPW PKB West Java, Syaiful Huda, stressed that the\nessence of a political party\u2019s presence must deliver tangible impacts\nfelt directly in public life. According to him, power is not the\nultimate goal, but rather a tool to serve the people to the greatest\nextent possible.<\/p>\n
\u201cPKB\u2019s presence is not merely about the struggle for power, but how\nto use that power to the fullest extent to serve the people. The synergy\nbetween policies in parliament, the executive, and real action on the\nground is the key continuously held by all PKB cadres and administrators\nin West Java,\u201d said Syaiful Huda.<\/p>\n
Huda revealed that in recent years, West Java PKB has initiated\nvarious public service movements touching various lines of community\nlife. Among them is the Foodbank Movement as a form of circular economy.\nThis movement does not just distribute food to people in need, but also\nenergises the activity of culinary MSME producers.<\/p>\n
\u201cEvery Friday, products from local MSMEs are purchased by West Java\nPKB cadres for distribution, creating a sustainable circular economic\necosystem between political parties, small business actors, and\nmarginalized communities,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
On the humanitarian action front, Huda said West Java PKB formed an\nEmergency Response Task Force (GTD). This GTD unit is supported by a\nfleet of around 250 ambulances spread across the corners of West\nJava.<\/p>\n
\u201cGuarded by thousands of volunteers on standby 24 hours, this fleet\nactively handles emergency situations, ranging from handling landslide\ndisasters in West Bandung to emergency calls for delivering sudden\nstroke patients and expectant mothers to health centres,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
The Deputy Chairman of Commission V of the Indonesian House of\nRepresentatives said that West Java PKB also established the Bale Zakat\ncommunity service entity. This institution functions to manage and\ndistribute infaq, shodaqoh, and sacrificial animals from PKB cadres and\nthe wider community to those entitled to receive them.<\/p>\n
\u201cAll of these social actions on the ground are structurally combined\nwith legislative support, budgeting, and strict oversight of the\nperformance of public officials carried out by PKB DPRD members at the\nProvincial and Regency\/City levels throughout West Java,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
The series of PKBFest events, Huda said, will be directly attended by\nthe General Chairman of the Central Executive Board of the National\nAwakening Party, Gus Muhaimin Iskandar. The Coordinating Minister for\nCommunity Empowerment will review various service booths, deliver a\nstruggle mandate, and lead the dispatch ceremony of hundreds of\nambulance fleets to commemorate the first anniversary of the\nhumanitarian service.<\/p>\n
