        "content": "<p>The vehicle tax payment services at Samsat offices throughout West\nJava are hoped to be as effective and efficient as banking services.\nThis is to make it easier for the public to fulfil their obligation to\npay vehicle taxes.<\/p>\n<p>West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi conveyed this. He also stated that\ncurrently, Samsat services have begun effectively implementing the\ncontents of a circular regarding the facilitation of annual vehicle tax\npayments without needing to bring the original owner\u2019s ID.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll these steps are efforts to build convenience so that West Java\nresidents can easily pay vehicle taxes. They want to pay taxes. If they\nwant to pay taxes, why make it complicated? Everything must be\nfacilitated,\u201d he said on Thursday (9\/8\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>According to him, public services like Samsat must take cues from the\nconveniences provided by banks to their customers. So far, banks have\noffered ease in various services to customers, from withdrawing savings\nto replacing lost ATM cards and passbooks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe must learn from banking; going to the bank to withdraw money\ndoesn\u2019t require bringing the passbook, just the ATM. Replacing an ATM is\neasy, replacing a passbook is easy, transfers are easy, everything is\nfacilitated so that banking has become the darling of Indonesians,\u201d he\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>He revealed that banking services, which require high security,\ncontinue to strive to make things easier for customers regarding\nfinancial transactions.
