        "content": "<p>West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi has stated he will ask the Mayor of\nTasikmalaya to impose sanctions on health workers who insulted a BPJS\npatient who has since died. He stressed that health workers must not\nmake inappropriate remarks. \u201cThis falls under the mayor\u2019s authority. I\nwill ask the mayor to impose sanctions in accordance with the applicable\nregulations,\u201d he said on Wednesday (5\/8\/2026). He emphasised that\nhealthcare services must never involve uttering inappropriate words to\npatients. \u201cThere will certainly be provisions that can be applied in the\nform of sanctions against the health workers,\u201d he added. Previously,\nYurizal Tri Chaerawan had to wait eight hours to receive treatment in\nthe emergency department. He was using a healthcare facility but was not\nimmediately treated. A number of netizens with medical backgrounds then\ncriticised the victim\u2019s statements. Yurizal was later reported to have\ndied. The health workers and doctors who insulted the deceased came\nunder public scrutiny. They subsequently apologised via text message.\nThe Ministry of Health also commented on the matter.<\/p>",
