        "content": "<p>After 1.5 years of leadership, public satisfaction with the\nperformance of West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi has reached 95.4%,\naccording to the latest survey by the Indonesian Survey Institute (LSI)\nreleased in Bandung on Thursday (23\/7). The majority of West Java\nresidents gave a positive assessment of the governor\u2019s leadership.<\/p>\n<p>LSI Executive Director Djayadi Hanan explained that 39.3% of\nrespondents stated they were very satisfied, while 56.1% admitted to\nbeing quite satisfied with Dedi Mulyadi\u2019s performance. \u201cThe total\nsatisfaction rate reached 95.4%,\u201d he stated during the presentation of\nthe Public Evaluation Survey on the Performance of the West Java\nProvincial Government.<\/p>\n<p>Djayadi further noted that respondents who expressed dissatisfaction\nwere recorded at only 3.3%, with those claiming to be completely\ndissatisfied at just 0.5%. A further 0.8% of respondents answered that\nthey did not know or did not provide an answer. LSI concluded that the\npublic dissatisfaction rate towards the governor\u2019s performance was only\n3.8%, far below the public satisfaction figure.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond measuring satisfaction with the regional head, the survey also\ncaptured public views on economic conditions and governance in West\nJava. The results showed that 44.3% of respondents assessed the\nprovince\u2019s economic condition as being in the moderate category. Public\nassessments stating the economic condition was either good or bad were\nrelatively balanced.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding the performance of the West Java Provincial Government,\nDjayadi said 60.2% of respondents rated governance as good to very good.\nA total of 30.4% rated it as moderate, and only 8.1% rated it as poor to\nvery poor. LSI also recorded that all measured sectors received positive\nassessments from the public, with infrastructure development and basic\nservices receiving the highest appreciation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe economic sector remains the main challenge for the regional\ngovernment, although more than half of respondents still expressed\nsatisfaction with the performance of the West Java Provincial\nGovernment. The survey also measured responses to several priority\nprogrammes in education, such as the New Student Admission System (SPMB)\nfor senior high, vocational, and special needs schools, the Private\nSchool Cooperation programme (SSK), and the Maung (Superior Human)\nSchool programme,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The majority of respondents who were aware of these programmes\nexpressed support for their implementation. However, public awareness of\nthese various programmes is still relatively low, having not yet reached\n50%. The LSI survey was conducted from 2 to 9 July 2026, involving 800\nrespondents proportionally distributed across all regencies and cities\nin West Java. The sample was drawn using a multistage random sampling\nmethod.<\/p>",
