        "content": "<p>Bandung (ANTARA) - West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi has emphasised\nthat the closure announcement signs for Diponegoro Road in Bandung,\ninstalled in the surrounding area, are unauthorised and lack official\npermission from the provincial government, meaning there will be no\nclosure as of 30 April 2026.<\/p>\n<p>This step was taken in response to conflicting information claiming\nthat access to the heart of Bandung would be completely shut from 30\nApril to 7 August 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Dedi highlighted the bypassing of procedures related to the\ninstallation of road closure signage.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, he assured that public mobility in front of the Gedung\nSate building must not be hindered by policies that have not received\napproval from top local leadership.<\/p>\n<p>Dedi urged residents to remain calm and continue their activities as\nusual without worrying about any access restrictions in that iconic\narea.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMay we at all times be able to carry on our activities as normal,\nmaintaining the cleanliness and beauty of Bandung, which is a source of\npride for us all,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Although road access is confirmed to remain open, Dedi acknowledged\nthat the government is currently undertaking landscaping of the Gedung\nSate grounds.<\/p>\n<p>However, he stressed that the construction process must proceed\nalongside smooth public mobility, even as it remains on target for\ntimely completion.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMay the landscaping of the Gedung Sate grounds proceed safely,\nsmoothly, and on time,\u201d Dedi stated.<\/p>\n<p>To date, according to Dedi, the West Java Provincial Government\ncontinues intensive coordination to ensure all infrastructure policies\nrun according to procedure and do not cause confusion among West Java\nresidents, particularly those in the Flower City.<\/p>",
