        "content": "<p>Bandung (ANTARA) - Chairman of the West Java Provincial DPRD, Buky\nWibawa Karya Goena, has urged the West Java Provincial Government not to\nfocus solely on physical development, but also to balance its priorities\nwith poverty alleviation and reducing unemployment.<\/p>\n<p>Buky emphasised that addressing these social issues is a regional\nchallenge, including for West Java which has now reached 81 years of\nage, requiring serious attention, so that community economic empowerment\nprogrammes must proceed in tandem with improvements to infrastructure\nand public services.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe government needs to balance its priorities. Physical development\nand services must be accompanied by community empowerment to effectively\naddress poverty and unemployment,\u201d said Buky.<\/p>\n<p>Buky said his party assesses that strengthening governance and\neffectively handling social issues is crucial to realising the West Java\ndevelopment vision for 2025-2029, namely \u201cJabar Istimewa, Lembur Diurus,\nKota Ditata\u201d (A Special West Java, Villages Cared For, Cities\nOrganised), while also aligning with the third and fourth missions of\nthe Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD).<\/p>\n<p>Beyond the aspect of equitable development, Buky encouraged the West\nJava Provincial Government to strengthen an adaptive, integrity-driven\nbureaucratic transformation that upholds the principles of good and\nclean governance.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs West Java reaches its 81st year, we want the bureaucracy to be\nincreasingly clean, open, and adaptive, so that the benefits of\ndevelopment are truly felt by the public,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He added that bureaucratic strengthening must lead to public services\nthat are easily accessible, transparent, and accountable through the use\nof technology, innovation, and active citizen participation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe want the West Java bureaucracy to deliver the best service. This\ngovernance strengthening must be consistent and aligned with the\nachievement targets of the 2025-2029 RPJMD,\u201d he concluded.<\/p>",
