According to Tedy, this step is important\nso that the BRT programme can run optimally without causing resistance\nfrom residents. \u201cThe Bandung City Government must be bold, like the West\nJava Provincial Government, when there are affected communities,\ncompensation is given,\u201d said Tedy in Bandung on Sunday. He emphasised\nthe importance of intensive communication with the community to avoid\nmisunderstandings during project implementation. \u201cIn terms of grand\ndesign, this BRT is one of the solutions to handling congestion in\nBandung City,\u201d he stated. He also assessed that the programme is already\nurgent because it is part of a national programme that is also\nimplemented in several other cities, including Medan.
