        "content": "<p>The Class I Special Non-Immigration Checkpoint Office of West Jakarta\nhas ensured that operations and public services continue to run normally\nfollowing a sting operation (OTT) conducted by the Corruption\nEradication Commission (KPK) on Wednesday morning. The Head of\nInformation and Immigration Communication at the West Jakarta\nImmigration Office, Siti Adytasia, emphasised that the arrest of an\nofficial within the office\u2019s environment has not disrupted existing\npublic services. \u201cAs of now, public services at the West Jakarta\nImmigration Office are running normally,\u201d Siti stated via a text message\nin Jakarta on Wednesday. However, Siti noted that the West Jakarta\nImmigration Office is not yet able to provide more detailed information\nregarding the chronology or the identity of the official caught in the\nundercover operation. The office is currently awaiting further\ninstructions and the results of coordination with central authorities.\n\u201cFor further confirmation on other matters, we are awaiting coordination\nwith the Directorate General of Immigration,\u201d she added. Previously, the\nCorruption Eradication Commission (KPK) confirmed that it had conducted\na sting operation and detained several officials within the West Jakarta\nImmigration Office on Wednesday. \u201cThat is correct,\u201d said KPK Deputy\nChairman Fitroh Rohcahyanto when confirmed in Jakarta on Wednesday.\nNevertheless, the anti-corruption agency remains reluctant to disclose\ndetailed information regarding the individuals detained or the evidence\nseized during the operation. In accordance with the provisions of the\nCriminal Procedure Code (KUHAP), the KPK has 24 hours to determine the\nlegal status of the individuals detained in the sting operation.<\/p>",
