Jakarta (ANTARA) - The City Government and Metro Police of West\nJakarta are still opening all their offices for vehicle storage for\nresidents returning to their hometowns during the 2026 Eid al-Fitr\nholiday break.<\/p>\n
\u201cRegarding vehicle storage in accordance with the provisions, we are\nstill preparing places at the district offices, sub-districts, and the\nmayor\u2019s office. We are open to the public who need it,\u201d said West\nJakarta Mayor Iin Mutmainnah to reporters in Jakarta on Friday\nafternoon.<\/p>\n
In agreement, Metro Police Chief of West Jakarta Kombes Pol Twedi\nAditya Bennyahdi also stated that parking at the police headquarters and\nits sub-stations remains open for vehicle storage by holiday\ntravellers.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe police headquarters and sub-stations are open for motor vehicle\nstorage. It has been announced through social media, through community\nguidance and security officers for police offices, headquarters, and\nsub-stations to open vehicle storage facilities,\u201d said Twedi.<\/p>\n
However, vehicles deposited must have complete documents in\naccordance with the regulations. \u201cAccompanied by valid proof of\nownership, to avoid issues later when collecting if there is no proof of\nownership, the vehicle cannot be retrieved,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
He mentioned that pre-holiday vehicle storage has only been observed\nat the Kebon Jeruk Police Station. \u201cYesterday we checked, there was some\nat the Kebon Jeruk Police Station.
