        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) \u2013 The Weekend Land Service (Pelataran), available at\na number of district and municipal land offices, offers the public an\nalternative for handling land-related services outside normal working\ndays.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI happen to work from Monday to Friday, so today (Saturday) I can\naccompany my mother to collect her certificate,\u201d said Nyarmi, a resident\nof a village in Bojonegoro Regency, East Java, according to a statement\nfrom the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning\/National Land\nAgency (ATR\/BPN) received in Jakarta on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>Pelataran is open at selected land offices every Saturday and Sunday\nfrom 8am to 12pm local time.<\/p>\n<p>The service allows Nyarmi and other people who work daily to arrange\ntheir land-related business around their own schedules.<\/p>\n<p>Pelataran offers a range of services. Another resident, Muhsin, who\nvisited the Bojonegoro Regency Land Office, intended to arrange the\ndemarcation of his land boundaries.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is very helpful because I\u2019m busy during working hours from\nMonday to Friday. Saturday is a great help. The process is also very\nquick and doesn\u2019t take long,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>For Muhsin, weekend services are a practical option for people who\nhave difficulty finding time on weekdays. Residents do not have to leave\nwork or other activities to access land services, as they can handle\ntheir affairs at a more flexible time.<\/p>\n<p>Since its launch, Pelataran has been available at 107 land offices\nacross Indonesia. The service has received a positive response from the\npublic, who say it makes land services easier to access and speeds up\nthe process.<\/p>\n<p>ATR\/BPN Minister and National Land Agency head Nusron Wahid has\npreviously said that weekend services have become common practice at\nland offices in major cities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are used to serving the public every Saturday and Sunday,\nparticularly in major cities. Since many people can only deal with land\ncertificates at the weekend, come and arrange your own certificate using\nPelataran, which is easy and practical,\u201d Nusron said.<\/p>",
