        "content": "<p>Wealth auditors quiz Miranda<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA: The Public Servants Wealth Audit Commission (KPKPN)<br>\nquestioned on Tuesday the deputy governor of Bank Indonesia,<br>\nMiranda S. Goeltom.<\/p>\n<p>The questioning was in response to a report about an alleged<br>\ntransaction of the bank's promissory notes by one of her<br>\ndaughters and a company reportedly owned by Miranda that she<br>\nfailed to report to the commission.<\/p>\n<p>Miranda, one of three candidates to become the central bank's<br>\ngovernor, refused to comment on the questioning.<\/p>\n<p>Her former husband, Erwin Siregar, who told the KPKPN about<br>\nMiranda's alleged ownership of the company, arrived earlier at<br>\nthe commission's office.<\/p>\n<p>KPKPN official Muchayat said the questioning was aimed at<br>\nseeking clarification of the report from Miranda.<\/p>\n<p>Miranda reportedly formed the company in cooperation with<br>\nOloan Siahaan, who is now her husband, before she joined the<br>\ncentral bank.<\/p>\n<p>KPKPN recorded that Miranda owns property and savings worth Rp<br>\n5.6 billion and has another US$56,000 in savings. -- JP<\/p>",
